2023 International Frontier Science Forum Convened in Tengchong
December 5, 2023 The 2023 International Frontier Science Forum was successfully held in Tengchong, Yunnan Province from December 3 to 5. The forum was hosted by IUE and RCEES of CAS, and organized by ISC-CHINA. The forum gathered more than 100 experts and scholars from prestigious institutions across China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore and other countries. Participants included leading researchers from top universities, scientific institutions and international organizations, who engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge scientific topics including urban environmental health, ecological sustainability, climate change adaptation and green technology innovation. Distinguished speakers delivered keynote addresses and agreed to establish an international research network on urban environmental science and strengthened research partnerships between Chinese and global institutions for sustainable development. In his closing remarks, Prof. Yong-Guan Zhu, Vice President of ISC-CHINA stated: "This forum has created a valuable platform for interdisciplinary exchange and international cooperation to address pressing global environmental challenges." |
