Urban Lab
Partnered with Beirut Arab University, the Urban Lab has pioneered noise pollution modeling in Beirut's Taril al-Jadidah district, demonstrating how sensitivity analysis can address complex urban health and wellbeing challenges.
Strategic Objectives:
1) Serve as Lebanon's premier hub for urban innovation knowledge
2) Facilitate international exchange of best practices through city-to-city learning
3) Develop evidence-based solutions for Mediterranean urban sustainability
The Belt and Road Alliance of Urban Environmental Health
In 2020, UHWB and IUE has jointly established the “Belt and Road” Alliance of Urban Environmental Health under the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), in order to promote the healthy development of countries along the "Belt and Road".
Expected Outcomes:

2) International S&T Cooperation Platform for Urban Health
3) High-End Think Tank for Urban Environmental Health
