From 2014 to 2024, more than 17 international conferences and forums have been held, and over 700 international experts and scholars have been invited to Xiamen for exchanges. Experts from all over the world have conducted interdisciplinary and cross sectoral discussions and cooperation on environmental and urban health issues at national and international level.

Urban Science and Sustainability (USS) Summer School
UHWB-IPO fully utilizes the resources of scientific committees and global networks to conduct in-depth collaborative research on the theme of "urban environmental health".
In order to build a sustainable global partnership and address major challenges of global and regional sustainable development, UHWB-IPO has established international cooperation platforms, with domestic and foreign partners, to promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation and exchanges.
